Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh will release the prospectus and schedule for MBBS and BDS state quota admissions after the NEET 2022 result. Its website is http://www.updgme.in/ and online application form is to be filled at https://upneet.gov.in/. Through this, admission is given by conducting first round counseling, second round counseling and Mop up round counseling
The registration fees for first round and second round counseling will be 2000/- for all categories, which will be non-refundable and it is mandatory for all the candidates to register for Mop up round counseling, whose registration fee is 1000/- for all categories.
While doing the registration, the Nodal center has to be selected where the admission formalities have to be completed. Select the Nodal center near you given in the option. After completing the registration, documents verification and Security money Demand draft (DD) will have to be submitted at the Nodal Center, which is as follows:-
If any candidate wants to participate in all Government Medical/Dental College and Private Medical/Dental College then Security money Rs. 2,00,000/- (Rupees two lakhs) will have to be deposited.
Demand draft (DD) of Security fees is deposited, you can fill the choice for the first round. After filling the choices it is mandatory for the candidate to lock the choices otherwise they whould not be considered for allotment of the seat.
Registion will not be completed till online payment has been made. If Security fees not submitted by the candidate will not be permitted for Document verification and choice filling.
Security money rules:-
Security money will be returned to the candidates after taking admission in Government and Private Medical/Dental colleges. Candidates who have not taken admission on the allotted seat or have resigned after taking admission, their security money will be forfeited.
First Round Counseling :-
This counseling is online and there is no free exit in Uttar Pradesh. If you get a seat and you want to join on it, then you can join and give the option of upgrade and you can upgrade it in the 2nd round. After the seat allotment in the first round, one year tuition fees and original documents will have to be deposited in the allotted colleges in case of allotment on government seat and by visiting the nodal center in case of allotment on private seat.
Second Round Counseling :-
The second round of counseling will be conducted to fill the vacant seats after the first round of counseling. Round 2 shall be held on-line. If you have joined the seat in the second round of MCC, then you cannot participate in the second round of UP. Fresh registration will be opened in second round. Such candidates whose Security money has been forfeited in the first round, then they can participate in the second round by depositing Security money again. In the second round, the seat of the first round can also be upgraded. There is no need to deposit Security money again. After the seat is upgraded in the second round, your first round seat will be allotted to any other candidate. You will have to complete the admission formalities on the upgrade seat in the second round. In case the seat is not upgraded in the second round, the seat of the first round will remain the same. But in the second round, if the seat of the first round is allotted again, then they will have to complete the admission formalities again in the second round, otherwise the admission will be canceled and that seat will become vacant and will be added to the counseling of Mop Up round. Those Candidates who are allotted seat in first round of counseling and have taken admission and do not want to upgade themselves need not fill the choices in second round of counseling. Candidates who are already admitted in any college need NOT fill same the choices as their already admitte college.
Mop Up Round Counseling :-
The Mop Up round of counseling will be conducted to fill the vacant seats after the second round of counseling. Mop Up Round 2 shall be held off-line. That is, the candidates will have to be present at the time of counselling. Admission is given on vacant seat onspot according to merit and choice of the candidate. In this, only those candidates can participate who have not been allotted seats in the first and second round. Those who have not registered in the first and second round, they can do fresh registration in it.Documents will be verified onspot. Candidates will have to produce certificates in original as well as one self attested photocopies of all documents at the time of verification otherwise they not be allowed to participate in the Mop Up round. The candidates registered in the first and second round will have to re-register by paying a registration fee of Rs 1000/- for counseling of the Mop Up round, they do not need to re-deposit the security money. If you have joined seat through AIQ 15% then you cannot participate in Mop Up round of UP. Candidates who have allotted/admitted/not joined/resigned from any MBBS seat in UP counseling will not eligible for Mop Up round. Those candidates who have already been admitted in BDS course can participate in the Mop Up round to upgrade their course from BDS to MBBS after resigning their seats and have to reproduce original documents/certificates for this, otherwise they will not be eligible for the same, their security and tution fess will be automatically forfeited and the candidate have to compulsorily submit the security and tution fees bank draft again at the time of Mop Up round. After allotment candidates should deposit tution fees / difference of tution fees amount to the allotted college counter on-spot during mop up round.
Stray vacancy Round Counseling (Extended Mop Up Round) :-
This counseling will be conducted to fill the vacant seats after the Mop up round of MBBS/BDS counseling. These seats are filled by counseling aurhority only. Only those candidates are eligible , who has already registered for Mop Up Round. Candidates who have been allotted/admitted/not joined/resigned from MBBS Seat in First/Second and Mop Up Round counseling will not be eligible for this round. Those candidates are not eligible, who have already admitted in any Medical College in India through MCC/any State Counseling. The seats left vacant after the Extended Mop up round of MBBS of Private Medical College will be transferred to the concerned college and these seats shall be filled by the college itself. After the extended Mop up round of BDS of Private Dental College, counseling of Mop up – 2 will be conducted by the counseling authority to fill the vacant seats, after that the vacant seats are transferred to the concerned Dental College and shall be filled by concerned college.
While filling the choice of Private Medical College, fill the Medical College in this order :-
