In the Rajasthan state, candidates come from all the states for NEET preparation, as there are more coaching institutes like Allen and Aakash for NEET and JEE preparation in “Shiksha Nagari” Kota. Talking about Top 50, students top both these coaching only. Due to being the top coaching institute in Rajasthan, the marks of the students come more here. Due to less Government seats in Rajasthan state, the cutoff remains very high every year.
Rajasthan is semi open state. Here in the second and mopup round, the seat of Private College will be allotted to the candidates of Rajasthan first, after that if the seat remains vacant then other state candidates will be allotted.
There are three types of MBBS seats for the state quota of Rajasthan. It has 16 Government Medical Colleges and one Private Medical College (Gitanjali Medical College-10 seat) with 1743 State Quota Government seats on Government fees. 465 Government payment seats in 09 Government Medical Colleges. There are 246 NRI quota seats in 12 Government Medical Colleges. Total 16 Government Medical Colleges in Rajasthan in which 2940 Government MBBS seats are available. There are total 4125 MBBS seats in Government and Private Medical Colleges, which are as follows:-
